I came from Ukraine and have dedicated over 15 years to the art of wool felting. I teach classes that incorporate unique European methods alongside my own signature techniques for creating accessories, “painting” with wool fibers, and crafting 3D souvenirs. My work has been showcased in group and solo exhibitions across Auburn, Rocklin, Roseville, Grass Valley, and Loomis.

My felting process utilizes both dyed and undyed sheep’s wool. Wet felting involves water, soap, and physical manipulation, where the wet fibers are rubbed and rolled until they interlock. Nuno felting bonds wool fibers with other natural or synthetic materials, while dry or needle felting employs special needles to tangle the fibers through repeated piercing.

I draw inspiration from picturesque landscapes and the natural world, including both flora and fauna. Felting offers limitless creative possibilities, allowing individuals to unlock their talents and engage in a unique creative process.
