I’ve enjoyed creative arts since I was a child, and have tried many different mediums over the years. After moving to Newcastle 18 years ago, I had the opportunity to take a ceramics course in Lincoln, and I was hooked. What a great community of artists I met! Eventually I became a person who not only buys dirt in 25 pound bags, but brings it into my house on purpose. I enjoy functional art such as bowls & mugs, yard art such as fish that swim through your plants , and silly critters that will make you smile. However, my favorites are whimsical sculpture pieces – mainly quirky animals. My main goal is to have fun, and create things that will make you smile.
